Fibroids are often discussed in medical terms, but many women feel there’s a deeper, unspoken truth behind this condition—one that goes beyond biology alone. In this post, we’ll explore what fibroids are, what mainstream medicine says, and a faith-based perspective that some believers reflect on when seeking spiritual understanding and healing.

🌸 What Is a Fibroid? (The General Definition)

A fibroid (medically called a uterine leiomyoma) is a non-cancerous growth that develops in or around the uterus. According to conventional medicine, fibroids are linked to:

  • Hormonal influences (especially estrogen)

  • Genetic factors

  • Age and reproductive history

Common symptoms may include:

  • Heavy or painful menstrual cycles

  • Pelvic pressure or bloating

  • Fertility challenges

  • Lower back pain

From a medical standpoint, fibroids are considered benign tumors of smooth muscle tissue.

🔍 But Is That the Whole Story?

Many women ask:

Why me? Why now? Why does this keep recurring?

This question opens the door for a spiritual lens, not to replace medicine, but to seek deeper meaning—especially for women of faith.

📖 A Biblical Reflection: Genesis 6 and a Spiritual Perspective

In Genesis 6:2 (KJV), Scripture states:

“That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.”

Some Bible scholars and believers interpret this passage as a moment of boundary violation between the spiritual and physical realms—an event that introduced corruption into human flesh.

From this faith-based viewpoint, fibroids are not seen merely as random growths, but symbolically as:

  • Unauthorized growth - the result of sex in the dream with a spirit spouse

  • Something foreign occupying sacred space

  • A disruption of God’s original design - verse 3 of Genesis says, "And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh:" This was NOT a part of the divine plan of ELOHIM. 

The womb, biblically, represents creation, promise, and legacy. Spiritually speaking, any abnormal growth in that space may be viewed by believers as something that does not belong—and therefore something that can be confronted through prayer, faith, and wisdom.

Why use verse 2 as a reference?

The sons of ELOHIM - also known as fallen angels - saw the women on Earth as beautiful and "took  them wives all of which they chose." They did not ask for permission but "took" them. What would be the result of this unholy union? Look out for this in an upcoming blog post. 

Fibroids are the result of this unholy union in the dream realm. Wet dreams that young boys experience are not merely wet dreams. Sex in the dream is not merely that! It is an invasion. It is abuse of power. It is exactly what happened in Genesis 2 but the only difference is that it occurs in the dream realm. Dreams are more important because they speak of warnings, blessings, directions, divine assistance and much more. They should not be taken lightly. Many women choose to walk a dual path:

  • Prayer, fasting, scripture, and declarations for spiritual peace and healing

  • God is a restorer

  • Healing is not limited to one dimension

Fibroids may be defined clinically as benign tumors, but for many women, the journey is deeply emotional and spiritual. Whether you are seeking answers, healing, or simply understanding—you are not alone.

They can be uprooted and permanently destroyed. This is not something that you are destined to live with for the rest of your life. Prayer and faith are the keys to their annihilation. They can also be destroyed through worship and intimacy with ELOHIM.
